Thanet Creative have started to experiment with online meetup formats.

This COVID-19 thing seems unlikely to go away any time soon. As mentioned before, we are taking every precaution to keep participants safe. This has meant not restarting in-person meetings despite the legality of doing so. It is one thing for something to be legal but another for it to be safe.

Until the COVID-19 crisis dies down (something we might not see in the UK for a while), we have started to hold our events digitally.

In the main, our events will be held via Facebook’s Rooms feature. To take part you will need to be a member of our Facebook writing group.

We have looked at other technologies but as most of our members are active on and familiar with Facebook, Rooms were the natural choice.
